Connect and explore with others in nature and on bike. You are welcome to come for all or part of this fantastic exploratory weekend.

What: A great time for all ages to fellowship, with potential activities including two focuses:

Nature: Enjoy hiking, taking pictures, bird watching, searching for flowers, doing crafts, etc.

Biking: May is a great time to explore the mountains, rivers, lakes, forests, and roads in the Cascades around Camp Camrec. And, what better way to do it than by bike!

At 2500′ elevation and plenty of hills to climb, Camp Camrec is a great base camp to kick your bike fitness into high gear in preparation for any planned summer rides/tours.

A route has been planned along the Wenatchee River between Leavenworth and Cashmere.

Lodging in cabins as well as breakfast and dinner are provided at our base camp (Camp Camrec).

On-ride nutrition will be homemade portables (sweet & savory pies, rice cakes, electrolyte drinks) crafted specifically for the adventure cyclist.

Carl Lind will serve as your tour guide. Feel free to email with any questions (clind3110@gmail.com).

Who: All ages welcome!! Please note biking routes may be strenuous.

Check in: Anytime after 5pm on Friday,  May 18. You are on your own for dinner.

Check out: Sunday evening, lunch will be the last prepared meal.

What to bring:

Everyone: Bedding (sleeping bag/single sheets), pillow, towel, flash light, weather appropriate shoes, clothing. Optional items: bible, journal, book, craft/sewing/art projects, bicycle, games, etc.

Bikers: Bring a bike with at least 32mm width tires (38mm+ better) to allow the freedom to roam and explore the back roads.
